WATCH: Rausch's "rink rat" days making all the difference for Otters hockey team

MOORHEAD — She wasn't tall or big, but she had quick hands and plenty of heart.

Sophie Rausch is one of the best ever to put on the skates for Fergus Falls girls hockey.

The senior Otter broke multiple school records in her time, including 116 goals, 76 assists and 192 overall points.

She gives all the credit to time put in during childhood, and in her "rink rat" days.

"It's just the love of the game honestly, and just wanting to go out there and be the best and just competitive drive, it all comes together," said Rausch.

After high school, she's set to play at Hamline University.
