Sioux City ends Force win streak with 5-2 win

SIOUX CITY, Iowa - Sioux City ended Fargo Force’s three-game winning streak with a 5-2 United States Hockey League victory Sunday at the Tyson Events Center.

Sioux City built a 4-0 lead as Martin Pospisil scored goals in the first and second periods. Bobby Brink and Parker Ford scored the other two goals.

The Force cut the lead to 4-2 with a second-period goal from Christoffer Bjork and a third-period goal by Tanner Vescio. Sioux City’s Marcus Kallionkieli closed out the scoring with a third-period goal.

Force goalie Tyler Johnson had 34 saves. The Force fall to 30-21-4 overall. Sioux City improves to 25-22-7.
