MAPLE GROVE, Minn. - Anders Grinde went 4-for-5 with two runs and an RBI to lead Maple Grove to a 7-3 victory against Fargo Post 2 in the first game of the Gopher Classic tournament.
Matt McManus drove in all three of Fargo's runs.
McManus hit a two-run home run in the sixth inning and was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded in the fourth.
Post 2's Nate Simley went 2-for-4 with a double.
The Gopher Classic is being held at eight sites around the Twin Cities area with six teams at each site.

Fargo (21-11) is scheduled to play Woodbury at 4 p.m. today and follows it up with a 6:30 game against Dublin, Ohio.
