NAIRN, Scotland - The Great Britain and Ireland team won five of eight heads-up matches on Sunday to snatch victory in the Curtis Cup away from the United States.

North Dakota State University golfer Amy Anderson lost the seventh match of the day to Stephanie Meadow of Northern Ireland 4 and 2.

This is the first win for the Great Britain and Ireland team since 1996 and the squads seventh in match history.
