MOORHEAD — Weather conditions have forced the postponement of an open house for updates on an improvement project at Matson Field.
The open house, initially scheduled for April 5, has been rescheduled for 4 p.m. to 5 p.m., Wednesday, April 12, at the Hjemkomst Center in Moorhead.
Moorhead Parks and Recreation, Public Works, and Mutchler Bartram Architects organized the open house to share details for improvements that include a grandstand, press box, new concession and bathroom areas and other updates. The city also hopes additional amenities such as a new scoreboard and monument sign can be included in the project, which is estimated to cost $1.2 million.
