Four things we're talking about after the Minnesota Vikings' 22-17 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday:
Another way to lose
After squandering second-half leads in their first three games, the Vikings found themselves behind the 8-ball at intermission. The end result was the same, though, as Minnesota was unable to battle back.
McNabb flounders on final drive
Minnesota's attempt at a rally failed late in the fourth quarter. After gaining a first down, quarterback Donovan McNabb threw four straight incompletions to kill any chances of a comeback win.

Allen continues to be silver lining
One bright spot for the Vikings has been the play of defensive end Jared Allen, who had two sacks against his former team on Sunday. Allen has 6.5 sacks this season.
0-for-4 start a bad omen
After only four weeks, the Vikings' chances at a playoff berth are already close to nonexistent. Since 1990, only one team - the 1992 San Diego Chargers - has rallied to make the postseason after dropping its first four games.
