MOORHEAD — Augsburg outscored Concordia by 19 points in the second half on its way to a 75-55 win in Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference men's basketball Saturday afternoon at Memorial Auditorium.
The road team led by just one at halftime, before the Auggies caught fire, shooting 65% in the second half and outscoring the Cobbers 46-27 in the final 20 minutes.
Tommy Schyma paced Concordia with 13 points, six rebounds and three assists. John Reiten added 11 points, while Adam Daggett finished with nine, including 3 of 4 from beyond the arc. The Cobbers shot 38% from the field.
Matt Carik's 23 points, and Booker Coplin's 21 led Augsburg (2-0, 1-0 MIAC), with Coplin hauling in a game-high 12 rebounds.
Concordia (2-3, 0-1) faces Gustavus Adolphus at 5:15 p.m. Tuesday.
