FARGO — Rylee Bartz scored six goals to spark Fargo-North South to a 9-3 North Dakota girls hockey victory over Jamestown on Saturday at the Fargo Coliseum.
Bartz's first goal came in the final minute of the opening period. She got right back to it after the first intermission, finding the back of the net 13 seconds into the second frame. Bartz added two more in the second period — at the 2:48 mark and 11:11. She capped the double hat trick with two third-period goals, pushing her season goals total at a state-best 13.
Ella Roaldson scored the game's first goal to put Jamestown ahead 1-0 in the first, but North-South rattled off six straight goals to take a sizable lead. Anna Nelson, Abby Promersberger and Evelyn Olson each had a goal for the Spruins and Lindsey Astrup dished out three assists.
North-South rose to 7-1 this season and has outscored opponents 27-7 in the last four games, all wins.
