MOORHEAD — Isaac Henkemeyer-Howe's walk-off RBI secured a doubleheader sweep for Moorhead, as the Blues downed Bemidji 7-4 and 3-2 in American Legion baseball Tuesday at Matson Field.
In Game 1, Chrisanto D'Agostino hit a three-run home run to lead the Blues (4-3). Tommy Horan finished 3-for-4 with a double, two runs and an RBI.
Henkemeyer-Howe grounded into a fielder's choice, but Horan slid safely into second to secure the winning run in the bottom of the eighth of Game 2. Caleb Saari and Skylar Timmer also knocked in one run each.
