GARY, Ind. — The Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks fell behind early, but plated four runs in the eighth inning en route to a 5-3 victory over Gary SouthShore on Monday in American Association baseball at U.S. Steel Yard.

All four of F-M's eighth-inning runs came from Devan Ahart's grand slam. T.J. Bennett also went yard for the RedHawks, hitting his seventh long ball of the year.

RedHawks starter Bret Helton (3-2) surrendered two earned runs on six hits with two walks and two strikeouts through seven innings to notch the win.

F-M (37-18) and Gary (22-32) continue the series at 12:10 p.m. Tuesday.
