HAWLEY, Minn. — Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton Post 397 put together a furious rally, taking down Hawley 11-2 to clinch the Minnesota South Sub-District 9 American Legion baseball championship Sunday.
Hawley scored two runs in the first inning before D-G-F scored a run in the fourth and sixth innings to tie the game. In the top half of the seventh inning, Post 397 tallied nine runs to runaway with the title.
Carter Bohn had two hits and two RBIs to pace D-G-F. Alec Gulseth registered two hits, while Jay Greuel had a hit and drove in two runs. Post 397 finished with 10 hits.
D-G-F (18-3) earned the No. 1 seed in the district tournament.
