Sioux Falls uses big seventh inning to rally past RedHawks
SIOUX FALLS, S.D.—The Sioux Falls Canaries scored four runs in the seventh inning en route to a 5-2 victory over the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks on Friday in American Association baseball at Sioux Falls Stadium before 4,566 fans.
David Bergin knocked in two runs to lead Sioux Falls, while Jordan Dean and Jordan Smith each added an RBI.
Charlie Valerio belted his 12th home run of the season, while Chris Jacobs drove in a run for the RedHawks. Michael Tamburino gave up one earned run on five hits with a walk and three strikeouts through six strong innings for F-M.
The RedHawks (42-35) remained 1 1/2 games out of first place in the North Division.
