MILWAUKEE — The Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks cruised to an 8-4 win over the Milwaukee Milkmen in American Association baseball Monday night at Routine Field before 807 fans.
Tim Colwell went 4-for-5 with a run and an RBI for the RedHawks. Correlle Prime went 2-for-4 with three runs and two RBIs, including his 14th home run this season. Daniel Comstock crushed his 10th homer of the year.
RedHawks starter Bret Helton (4-5) surrendered three runs on nine hits with no walks and five strikeouts over five innings to earn the win.
F-M (51-29) has a four-game lead over Winnipeg and St. Paul (47-33), which are tied for second place in the North Division. The RedHawks and Milkmen (32-48) continue the series at 7:05 p.m. Tuesday.
