MILWAUKEE — The Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks breezed past Milwaukee 6-1 Wednesday night in American Association baseball at Routine Field before 1,047 fans.

RedHawks starter Michael Tamburino (6-5) surrendered two hits with three walks and 14 strikeouts through seven shutout innings. In his last five outings, Tamburino is 2-0 and has given up three total runs with three shutouts, and has pitched six or more innings four times.

Yhoxian Medina went 2-for-3 with a run and two RBIs to pace the RedHawks offense. Chris Jacobs belted a solo home run, his 16th this season. Brennan Metzger had three hits and an RBI, while Devan Ahart had two hits and one RBI. Jacobs and Ahart each have 58 RBIs this season to lead the team.

F-M (53-29) will return home for a three-game series against the Sioux Falls Canaries.
