MILWAUKEE — Fargo-Moorhead erased a late, three-run deficit, but the comeback was thwarted as Milwaukee won 5-4 on a walk-off hit Wednesday night in American Association baseball at Routine Field before 1,449 fans.

The RedHawks plated three runs in the top of the eighth to tie the game 4-4. Tim Colwell hit a two-run triple to lead the late rally. He finished the game 2-for-4 with a run and three RBIs to pace F-M. Chris Jacobs drove in a run via sacrifice fly.

Sam Dexter hit a walk-off RBI single in the bottom of the ninth inning for the Milkmen (35-54).

The RedHawks (58-31) hold a 2.5 game lead over St. Paul for first place in the North Division.
