FARGO — West Fargo High School graduate Andy Young is being recognized as one of the top Major League Baseball prospects at his position for 2020.

The 25-year-old Young is listed as the 10th best prospect at second base for the upcoming season, according to MLB.com writer Jonathan Mayo. Young is in the Arizona Diamondbacks organization and was added to the team's 40-man roster last fall.

In 2019, Young batted .271 with 29 home runs and 81 RBIs, splitting time between Class Triple-A Reno of the Pacific Coast League and Double-A Jackson of the Southern League.

The St. Louis Cardinals drafted Young in the 37th round of the 2016 MLB June Amateur Draft. He was later traded to the Diamondbacks.
