JAMESTOWN — The Fargo Post 400 Stars wrapped up a Legion doubleheader sweep of Jamestown with a 12-0 win in six innings in Game 2 on Wednesday night at Jack Brown Stadium.
The Stars won 11-8 in an opening game that featured a combined 19 runs — eight unearned — 25 hits and seven errors.
Caden Graf was 4-for-5 with two RBI and three runs and Tate Gustafson and Kobe Senn both had two hits and an RBI. Ethan Claus had a hit and drove in two runs. Jamestown's Jacoby Nold doubled twice and drove in four runs.
In the second game, the Stars knocked the ball around efficiently, scoring their 12 runs on 12 hits while four pitchers combined on a four-hitter.
Evan Erickson and Colten Alme both had three hits, Graf doubled twice and drove in two runs, Senn had two hits and two RBI and Easton Rerick doubled and drove in three runs.
Starter Jake Jaroszewski went three innings and struck out four, and Alme, Jaxon Beiswenger and Chayton Senn all worked an inning in relief.
