FARGO — Fargo Post 2 scored all its runs in the second inning and defeated the Moorhead Blues 5-3 in the championship game of The Pete/F-M Invite on Sunday at Jack Williams Stadium.
The defending tournament champions scored their runs in the second on RBI singles from Dylan Erholtz, Danny Boutain and Connor Holm and two Blues errors.
Holm went six innings, allowing just one earned run on nine hits, to get the win. Tommy Simon pitched the seventh for the save.
The Blues' Quentin Hegg had three hits and an RBI and David Lindell had two hits and drove in two.
