FARGO — Lincoln rolled to a 4-0 win over the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks on Thursday in American Association baseball before 3,188 fans at Newman Outdoor Field.
Manuel Boscan and Leobaldo Pina each doubled for the RedHawks. John Silviano and Alex Boxwell added one hit each.
F-M starting pitcher Gage Hinsz (4-4) struck out five batters and walked one, while giving up four runs on eight hits through 6 1/3 innings.
Saltdogs starter John Richy allowed just four hits with two walks and four strikeouts through eight shutout innings. Lincoln (33-31) took the last two games of the series after F-M won the opener.
The RedHawks fell to 37-29 overall this season and sit in third place in the North Division. F-M next travels to Milwaukee for a three-game series against the Milkmen starting at 6:35 p.m. Friday.
