SIOUX FALLS, S.D. — The West Fargo Patriots kicked off play at the Central Plains Regional Legion baseball tournament with a 6-4 victory over Osseo (Minn.) on Wednesday at Sioux Falls Stadium.

West Fargo trailed 4-0, but rallied with four runs in the bottom of the fifth inning and two more in the bottom of the sixth.

West Fargo’s Brennan Haman drove in three runs, including a two-run single in the bottom of the sixth that gave the Patriots the 6-4 lead. Drew Clouse finished with two RBIs. Lance Oster had two hits and scored two runs, and Brayden Jacobson scored twice.

The Patriots got a complete-game effort from starting pitcher Casey Clemenson. He gave up four runs (one earned) on four hits with three walks and four strikeouts.

West Fargo advanced to play Renner (S.D.) at 4 p.m. Thursday.
