FARGO — North Dakota State added some size to its men's basketball roster on Monday signing 6-foot-10, 250-pound forward Tyler Witz from Olney Central College (Ill.).

Witz will have two years of eligibility remaining. He started 57 of 62 games in his junior college career averaging 7.1 points and 3.8 rebounds. He shot 59 percent from the field and was a national junior college academic All-American.

Witz played at Countryside High School in Clearwater, Fla., where he averaged 11 points and 7 rebounds in his senior year in 2016-17.
