FARGO — The Hi-Liners breezed past the Bruins on Tuesday night in Eastern Dakota Conference girls hoops.
Adie Wagner led South with 19 points and Raechel Osborn scored seven points.
Lindsey Noeske scored a game-high 20 points to pace Valley City. Jayden Dieterle poured in 17 points and Brooke Eggemont scored 15.
The Hi-Liners rose to 5-4 overall and 4-3 in the EDC. South dropped to 2-7 overall and 2-6 in the EDC.
Fargo Davies 72, West Fargo 39
WEST FARGO — Davies cruised by the Packers in EDC action.
The Eagles rose to 7-3 overall and 7-2 in the EDC. West Fargo dropped to 4-4 both overall and in conference play.
Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton 62, Thief River Falls 60 (2OT)
GLYNDON, Minn. — D-G-F was on the ropes but eventually battled back to down TRF in a double-overtime thriller.
The Rebels trailed by three with just over four seconds left. Out of a timeout, Mallory Leitner set a screen to free up Megan Thune who drilled the game-tying 3-pointer on a feed from Ally Freier to force a second overtime.
In regulation, Maria Watt drove in for the game-tying layup to force the first OT. Watt scored a game-high 27 points to pace D-G-F (4-9). Thune chipped in 12 points and Ashley Taves scored 10.
Camryn Schwab scored 17 points to lead TRF (1-14).
Wahpeton 52, Fargo North 49
FARGO — The Huskies claimed a road win over North in conference play.
Jordyn Kahler recorded 23 points for the Huskies with Aiyana Allard following with 14.
Arden Faulkner notched a double-double for the Spartans (1-8, 1-7 EDC) with 13 points and 13 rebounds. Jenni Sem chipped collected 11 points and 25 boards.
Wahpeton climbed to 2-6 both overall and in the EDC.
Moorhead 55, Alexandria 48
ALEXANDRIA, Minn. — The Spuds downed Alexandria to snap the Cardinals’ four-game winning streak.
Rylie Polomny posted 19 points to lead Moorhead. Sam Hulst contributed 12 points, while Sam Zimmerman added eight points and snagged 10 rebounds.
Myah Kremer tallied 10 points for Alexandria.
Moorhead improved to 9-4 overall and has won three games in a row. Alexandria dropped to 12-4 overall.
Underwood 46, Moorhead Park Christian 38
MOORHEAD — Underwood defeated Park Christian to snap the Falcons’ 13-game winning streak.
Karley Motschenbacher tallied 15 points, eight rebounds and seven steals to lead Park Christian (13-2). Eden Tofibam poured in 10 points and Ashley Hansen added five points with three steals.
Kayla Rocholl paced the Rockets with 18 points and Ceri Meech followed with 10.
Underwood rose to 9-5 this season and boasts a six-game winning streak.
