MOORHEAD — Tanner Brunsberg knocked down 17 free throws to help lift the Falcons to victory over Fosston in Pine to Prairie Conference basketball Thursday night.

Brunsberg finished with 29 points, draining 17 of 22 free-throw attempts. Jonah Williams poured in 25 points with six steals, while Riley Erkenbrack added 10 points and eight rebounds.

Kyle Jacobson paced Fosston with 18 points and Trey Boushee added 16.

Park Christian rose to 5-9 overall and 4-5 in conference play. Fosston dropped to 1-10 overall and 1-6 in conference play.

Fargo Shanley 66, Valley City 47

FARGO — The Deacons eased past Valley City in Eastern Dakota Conference action.

Shanley rose to 5-5 overall and 4-5 in the EDC. The Hi-Liners dropped to 2-8 overall and 1-7 in conference play.

Fargo Oak Grove 75, Wyndmere-Lidgerwood 46

FARGO — Oak Grove cruised past Wyndmere-Lidgerwood in North Dakota boys basketball Thursday night.

Noah Swenson tallied 17 points to lead the Grovers, while Mayson Bolme added 15.

Preston Bohnenstingl paced the Warbirds with 12 points.

Oak Grove improved to 4-5 overall, while Wyndmere-Lidgerwood fell to 1-7 overall.

GIRLS

Fargo Shanley 71, Valley City 33

FARGO — Shanley had three players score in double figures in their win over Valley City in Eastern Dakota Conference girls basketball.

The Deacons were led by Reile Rayne with 18 points, and Hadley Huber, who tallied 17 points and six assists. Mo Hakim added 10 points and seven rebounds for the home team.

Jadyn Dieterle paced Valley City with eight points.

Valley City fell to 5-5 overall and 4-4 in the EDC. Shanley improved to 8-2 overall and 7-2 in the EDC.

Wyndmere-Lidgerwood 54, Fargo Oak Grove 50

FARGO — Wyndmere edged Oak Grove in Class B action.

Morgan Niemiller’s 23 points led all players for the Grovers, while Isabel Anderson added nine points.

The Warbirds had a balanced scoring attack, with Kendra Kaczynski (16), Drew Frolek (15) and Gracie Kaczynski (12) pacing the offense.

The Grovers moved to 2-11 overall, while the Warbirds rose to 4-8 overall.

Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton 61, Frazee 51

DILWORTH, Minn. — The Rebels sunk Frazee for their first win in Heart of Lakes Conference play.

D-G-F was led by Peyton Wilson, who totaled 16 points. Megan Thune chipped in 11, while Maria Watt and Ally Freier each had nine.

Paige Ziegler’s 13 points paced Frazee, who saw help from Talia Gilbertson and Annika Reierson with eight points each.

D-G-F rose to 5-9 overall and 1-5 in the conference. Frazee fell to 8-7 overall and 1-5 in the conference.

East Grand Forks Sacred Heart 51, Moorhead Park Christian 44

EAST GRAND FORKS, Minn. — Sacred Heart downed the Falcons in Minnesota girls hoops.

Karley Motschenbacher stuffed the stat sheet for the Falcons, totaling 17 points, seven rebounds and nine assists, while Eden Tofibam added 13 points plus two steals.

Sacred Heart had four players in double figures, with Grace Vonesh (14 point), Sydney Lloyd (13), Maddi Mitzel (12) and Bella Knudson (10) leading the way.

The Eagles climbed to 14-2, while Park Christian dropped to 13-3.
