ST. CLOUD, Minn. — All five starters posted double figures, helping Minnesota State Moorhead secure a 74-63 win over St. Cloud State in Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference men's basketball Friday night.

MSUM led by as much as 10 points in the first half, and 12 in the second before the Huskies cut the deficit to 59-56 with 3 minutes, 21 seconds left. Fueled by free throws and a layup from Dane Zimmer, the Dragons were able to hold off the Huskies.

Bryce Irsfeld scored 15 points and grabbed six rebounds to lead MSUM. Junior forward Kaedrick Williams followed with 14 points, while Gavin Baumgartner finished with 12 points and seven boards. Johnny Beeninga had 12 points and Zimmer added 10. The Dragons shot 27-for-59 (45.8%) from the field.

Trevon Marshall and Anthony Roberts tallied 22 and 20 points, respectively, for St. Cloud State (13-12, 10-9 NSIC). The Dragons' bench outscored SCSCU's 24-0.

MSUM (16-9, 12-7) tips off against Minnesota Duluth at 5:30 p.m. Saturday.
