ST. CLOUD, Minn. — St. Cloud State edged Minnesota State Moorhead 80-74 in Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference women's basketball Friday night at Halenbeck Hall.

The Huskies led throughout, before the Dragons climbed back, trailing just 72-71 with 4 minutes, 21 seconds left. Erin Navratil's jumper with 41 seconds left, however, gave St. Cloud State a five-point lead to seal the win.

Mariah McKeever posted 21 points to lead MSUM (16-10, 11-8 NSIC). Megan Hintz added 16 points and 10 rebounds, while Peyton Boom posted 12 points and seven rebounds. The Dragons shot 28-for-69 (40.6%) from the field and hit nine 3-pointers.

All five starters scored in double figures for the Huskies (18-4, 15-4). Tori Wortz totaled 18 points to lead the squad. Navratil (17 points), Madelin Dammann (15), Nikki Kilboten (13) and Brehna Evans (12) rounded out the double-digit scorers.

MSUM travels to face Minnesota-Duluth at 3:30 p.m. Saturday.
