FARGO — Grant Nelson and Boden Skunberg, both North Dakota State recruits, are unanimous selections for the North Dakota Class A high school boys all-state basketball team as selected by the North Dakota Sportswriters and Sportscasters Association.

Nelson, a 6-foot-9 senior from Devils Lake, averaged 24.6 points per game, 18.3 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 5.7 blocks.

Skunberg, a 6-foot-5 senior from Jamestown, averaged 28.4 points, 11.1 rebounds and 2.8 assists.

The all-state first team also includes:

Cameron Van Dam, a 6-7 senior from Fargo Davies, who averaged 14.5 points, 7.8 rebounds, 3.6 assists, 2.6 steals and 1.7 blocks.

Elijah Klein, a 6-8 senior from Mandan, who averaged 19.3 points, 10.6 rebounds, 2.8 assists, 1.2 steals and 1.4 blocks.

Jaxon Gunville, a 6-1 senior from Minot, who averaged 25.3 points, 6 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.2 steals.

The all-state second team includes: Cade Feeney, a 6-foot senior from Bismarck Century; Kobe Krenz, a 5-11 senior from Dickinson; Cayden Rickard, a 6-foot senior from Fargo North; Blake Berg, a 6-4 senior from West Fargo Sheyenne and Jaiden Wright, a 6-3 senior from Dickinson.
