BEMIDJI, Minn. — Bemidji State breezed to a 74-59 victory over the Minnesota State Moorhead Dragons on Saturday in Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference women's hoops.

Sarah Jacobson paced the Dragons (3-3, 2-2 NSIC) with a game-high 15 points, adding five rebounds and three assists. Mariah McKeever added nine points, and Karley Motschenbacher and Nicole Brown each scored eight points. The Dragons shot just 30.9% (21 of 68) from the field and 11.5% (3 of 26) from 3-point range.

Rachael Heittola and Taylor Bray each scored 14 points to lead BSU (3-1, 2-0). The Beavers shot 54% (26 of 48) from the floor for the game, boosted by a 7-for-9 mark in the fourth quarter.

The Dragons are scheduled to face Minnesota-Duluth at 6 p.m. Friday at Alex Nemzek Fieldhouse in Moorhead to open a two-game series.
