WATCH: UND women's basketball stifled by Jackrabbits

GRAND FORKS — South Dakota State University jumped out to an early lead and never let go, downing the University of North Dakota 66-48 in women's basketball Summit League action.

The Jackrabbits (13-6 overall, 5-1 Summit) outscored the Fighting Hawks (8-11, 3-3) 29-6 in the first quarter. They were led by Macy Miller's 24 points, including a perfect 9-of-9 from the free throw line.

Lexi Klabo supplied 17 points and nine rebounds for UND. The Fighting Hawks shot 34 percent from the field on the night.

The Fighting Hawks take on North Dakota State on Sunday, Jan 20, in Fargo.
