West Fargo 66, Fargo Davies 56

WEST FARGO — West Fargo topped Fargo Davies in Eastern Dakota Conference girls basketball Friday.

McKenna Becher scored 23 points to lead the Packers. Mariah Schatz had a double-double with 13 points and 13 rebounds, while Chloe Pfau chipped in 12 points.

Alyssa Paper paced the Eagles with 13 points. Taylor Fey and Ava Wild each added 12 points.

West Fargo improved to 12-7 overall and 11-7 in the EDC. Davies dropped to 10-10 overall and 10-9 in conference play.

Fargo Shanley 72, Grand Forks Central 27

FARGO — Fargo Shanley cruised past Grand Forks Central.

Kate Busek had a game-high 23 points for the Deacons. Reile Payne dropped 16 points and added seven rebounds. Hadley Huber finished with eight assists and seven rebounds.

Lauren Hillman led the Knights with nine points.

Shanley improved to 17-3 overall and 15-3 in the EDC and has won four consecutive games. Central is now 0-19 overall and 0-17 in the EDC.

Fargo North 62, Wahpeton 47

FARGO — Two Spartans eclipsed 20 points as Fargo North defeated Wahpeton.

Maddy England came away with 23 points and Jennie Sem added 20.

The Huskies were led by Tyleigh Brady’s 21 points.

North improved to 4-15 overall and 4-14 in the EDC. Wahpeton fell to 6-13 overall and 5-13 in the EDC.

Devils Lake 74, West Fargo Sheyenne 57

DEVILS LAKE, N.D. — Devils Lake’s Mattea Vetsch put up a game-high 23 points to lead the EDC No. 1-ranked Firebirds to victory over West Fargo Sheyenne to remain undefeated this season.

Ramsey Brown added 16 points to Devils Lake’s winning effort. Taylor Windjue chipped in 12 points.

Yasmina Dokara led the Mustangs (13-6, 13-5 EDC) with 18 points.

Devils Lake improved to 18-0 overall and 17-0 in conference play.

Detroit Lakes 64, Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton 63

GLYNDON, Minn. — Detroit Lakes rallied from being down 13 points to edge Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton in Minnesota girls basketball.

Katlyn Brenna scored 23 points to lead the Rebels. Maria Watt poured in 15 points.

Lauryn Manning dropped a game-high 27 points to pace Detroit Lakes. Emily Larson added 13 points.

D-G-F dropped to 14-9 overall. Detroit Lakes improved to 10-13 overall.

Moorhead Park Christian 58, Underwood 52

UNDERWOOD, Minn. — Karley Motschenbacher and Moorhead Park Christian put an end to Underwood’s nine-game winning streak.

Motschenbacher scored 38 points, adding 11 rebounds, seven steals and three assists. Ashley Hansen produced nine points to go along with four rebounds and four steals.

Kayla Rochelle led the Rockets with 20 points.

Park Christian improved to 19-5 overall. Underwood is now 18-3 overall.
