West Fargo Sheyenne 73, Fargo North 52

FARGO — West Fargo Sheyenne breezed past Fargo North in Eastern Dakota Conference action to conclude the regular season.

Maggie Manson led the Mustangs with 24 points. Jadyn Feist followed with 16 points and Yasmina Dokara added 13.

Maddy England paced the Spartans with 24 points. England tied North’s girls basketball record with 61 made 3-pointers in a season. Jennie Sem chipped in 12 points.

Sheyenne concluded the regular season at 15-6 overall and 15-5 in the EDC. North finished 4-17 overall and 4-16 in conference play.

West Fargo 65, Fargo South 36

FARGO — West Fargo ended the regular season on a high note as the Packers cruised to victory against Fargo South, pushing their winning streak to four games.

McKenna Becher scored 16 points to lead the Packers. Ashlyn Diemert chipped in 12 points and five rebounds.

Adie Wagner had 12 points to lead South. Mesaged Abakar added 12 points and seven rebounds.

West Fargo (14-7, 13-7 EDC) will face Grand Forks Red River in the EDC tournament quarterfinals Tuesday, Feb. 26. South finished the regular season 3-18 overall and 3-17 in the EDC.

Fargo Davies 84, Devils Lake 74

FARGO — Taylor Fey dropped 36 points to lift Fargo Davies to an upset win over Devils Lake, ending the Firebirds’ 20-game win streak and spoiling their undefeated regular season.

Fey grabbed eight rebounds and shot 14 of 18 from the field. Ryleigh Wacha contributed across the board for Davies, tallying 20 points, 11 rebounds and six assists. Alyssa Paper had 15 points, 10 rebounds and four steals.

Mattea Vetsch recorded 23 points and six rebounds to lead Devils Lake. Taylor Windjue added 16 points.

Davies (11-10, 11-9 EDC) will face Grand Forks Central in an EDC tournament play-in game Saturday, Feb. 23. Devils Lake finished the regular season 20-1 overall and 19-1 in the EDC.

Moorhead 61, Bemidji 45

MOORHEAD — Moorhead capped the regular season by extending their winning streak to six games and ending Bemidji’s three-game winning streak.

Rylie Polomny paced the Spuds with 13 points and six assists. Ayana Blythe chipped in eight points and seven rebounds. Brooke Carney and Kyle Dumas each poured in eight points.

Katie Alto led the Lumberjacks with 10 points.

Moorhead concluded the regular season on a six-game winning streak to finish 13-13 overall. Bemidji finished 15-10.

Moorhead Park Christian 58, Ashby 39

MOORHEAD — Moorhead Park Christian ended its regular season with a five-game winning streak as the Falcons downed Ashby.

Karley Motschenbacher stuffed the stats sheet with 21 points, 10 rebounds, six steals and four assists to lead the Falcons. Molly Metzger scored 12 points, while Anika Carlson had nine points and 10 rebounds.

Courtney Koefod scored 17 points to pace the Arrows.

Park Christian finished the regular season with an overall record of 21-5. Ashby is now 6-17 overall.

Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton 58, Sacred Heart 48

East Grand Forks, Minn. — Katlyn Brenna dropped 20 points to lead Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton to victory over Sacred Heart.

Allie Critchley had 15 points for the Rebels and Maria Watt chipped in 10.

Sydney Lloyd scored 16 points to lead Sacred Heart. Jessica Remer added 14 points.

D-G-F improved to 16-9 overall. Sacred Heart finished the season with an overall record of 13-12.
