VERMILLION, S.D. — The University of South Dakota scored 50 points in the paint as the Coyotes cruised to a 76-57 Summit Leauge women's basketball victory over North Dakota State on Thursday at Sanford Coyote Sports Center.

Michelle Gaislerova scored 20 points to lead the Bison. Tyrah Spencer chipped in 11 points and Sofija Zivaljevic had 10.

Hannah Sjerven scored 20 points off the bench to lead the Coyotes (25-4, 13-2 Summit), who are second place in the league. The USD bench totaled 38 points. Taylor Frederick paced the starters with 15 points.

NDSU (7-20, 4-11) wraps up the regular season at 1 p.m. Saturday at Purdue Fort Wayne.
