FARGO - After the shortest offseason in school history, a new Bison football year officially begins on Friday.

There are several additions to the roster, namely the incoming freshman class, some that will likely be sprinkled into the lineup as the season goes along. NDSU added five transfers since the spring, from quarterback Quincy Patterson II to Wisconsin tight end Gabe Lloyd.

The Bison also had several players move on after the loss at Sam Houston, several to graduation (Zeb Noland and Garret Wegner) to transferring to other schools (Logan Graetz and Trey Steinbach).

Here are some notable changes to the roster and some weight changes to players we last saw in May.
