HUNTSVILLE, TX - North Dakota State football has returned to the Lone Star State.
Except it's a couple of rounds earlier than usual. The Bison will face host Sam Houston Sunday afternoon in the FCS quarterfinals with a spot in the semis up for grabs. The Bearkats are the number two seed, who advanced with a 21-15 win over Monmouth last week.
NDSU got here with a 42-20 blowout of Eastern Washington and are set to meet the Bearkats for the fifth time in the playoffs since 2011. The Bison have won all of those games, including the national title games in 2012 and 2013.

The Bearkats are unbeaten at 7-0 in the spring and have not lost a playoff home game since their move to Division I, with a perfect 14-0 record. That includes one win over a Missouri Valley Football Conference opponent, South Dakota, in the 2017 second round, 52-43.
Jeff Kolpack, Mike McFeely and Dom Izzo set the scene in Huntsville in anticipation of tomorrow's game.
