College baseball: Bison woes continue with loss at Texas

NDSU's losing streak reached 13 games and the Bison are still seeking a second win following the Longhorns' victory Wednesday.

AUSTIN, Texas — Texas scored three late runs and held off North Dakota State 7-4 on Wednesday.

The Bison and Longhorns were tied 4-4 through six innings but Texas broke the tie with a run in the seventh and added two more in the eighth.

NDSU's Cadyn Schwabe was 2 for 5 and drove in two runs, Druw Sackett was 2 for 4 with an RBI and Davis Hamilton was 2 for 4.

The Bison's losing streak is now 13 games and they are 1-16 overall. They play at Houston Christian at 2 p.m. Friday, March 17, in Houston.
