College baseball: Four Texas State pitchers combine to shut down Bison

NDSU's losing streak reached 11 games after three losses to the Bobcats over the weekend.

SAN MARCOS, Texas — North Dakota State's losing skid reached 11 games after a 5-1 loss to Texas State on Sunday.

Four Bobcats pitchers limited the Bison to one unearned run on four hits. Levi Wells improved to 3-0 pitching scoreless balls the first six innings. He allowed two hits, walked two and struck out nine.

NDSU's Cadyn Schwabe and Jack Steil doubled, Druw Sackett singled in a run and Kyle Law singled and scored the Bison's run.

NDSU is 1-14 overall and plays two games at Texas on Tuesday, March 14 and Wednesday, March 15.
