College wrestling: Bison win first six matches and down Air Force

NDSU built a 26-point lead before Air Force got on the board in a Friday night dual in Colorado Springs, Colo.

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — North Dakota State won the first six matches and seven overall to blow by Air Force 32-10 in a Big 12 Conference dual on Friday night.

The Bison's Kellyn March won by fall at 149 pounds and Owen Pentz capped the six-match win streak with a pin at 197 pounds, putting the Bison ahead 26-0. NDSU's Walker Bents closed out the night with a pin at 141 pounds.

No. 2-ranked Jared Franek at 157 pounds and Gaven Sax at 174 scored major decisions. Michael Caliendo at 165 pounds and D.J. Parker at 184 both won by decision.

The Bison take on Northern Colorado in a 7 p.m. dual on Saturday, Feb. 4, at Greeley, Colo.
