For the first time since 1996, North Dakota State and North Dakota will end the regular season facing one another.
There was a decade stretch where the two schools played one another in the final game of the North Central Conference season and then some times turn around and play the following week in the playoffs.
That won't happen this year, but these two teams could see each other down the road in the FCS Playoffs.
North Dakota State (8-2) enters on a three game win streak, looking to cinch up a high playoff seed and a first round bye.
North Dakota (7-3) also enters winners of three in a row, they are looking to beat the Bison for the first time at the Division I level.
