Men's basketball: Bison pick up first win of season

FARGO — Andrew Morgan notched a double-double to help lead North Dakota State to a 76-55 win over Crown on Sunday for its first win in five tries this season.

Morgan led the Bison with 23 points and 14 rebounds as they handed Crown its first loss in five games.

NDSU's Boden Skunberg had 19 points and eight rebounds and Tajavis Miller scored 16 points.

The Bison, who built a 40-26 lead by halftime, limited Crown to 34 percent shooting and held a 49-37 advantage on the boards.

NDSU is 1-4 overall and is off until playing next against Northern Colorado (Nov. 25), New Mexico (Nov. 26) and Jacksonville State (Nov. 27) in the Logo Classic in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
