Men's basketball: Oral Roberts hangs on for win over NDSU

Max Abmas led four ORU players scoring in double figures with 27 points as the Golden Eagles defeated the Bison in a Summit League game on Saturday.

TULSA, Okla. — Max Abmas led four Oral Roberts players scoring in double figures with 27 points as the Golden Eagles defeated the Bison 74-66 in a Summit League game on Saturday.

Abmas also had five assists while Issac McBride scored 12 points and grabbed four rebounds. Carlos Jurgens had 10 points and four rebounds and Patrick Mwamba had 11 points and eight boards.

NDSU's Grant Nelson registered a double-double with 24 points and 12 rebounds. Boden Skunberg had 13 points and eight rebounds, Jacari White had nine points and Andrew Morgan finished with eight points and six rebounds.

The Bison fell to 9-7 in the Summit League and 12-16 overall while ORU improved to 16-0 in the league and 25-4 overall.

NDSU plays its final two regular season games at home, beginning with a 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 23 Summit game against St. Thomas. The Bison end the regular season against Western Illinois at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 25.
