Men's golf: Bison climb to fourth in Summit League Championship

NDSU's Nate Adams and Nate Deziel head into Tuesday's third and final day in fifth place.

LINCOLN, Neb. — The North Dakota State men’s golf team moved up to fourth place after Monday's second round of the Summit League Championship at the Wilderness Ridge Country Club.

The Bison will head into the final day of the championships on Tuesday at 37-over. Denver, the defending champion, lead at 25-over, with Kansas City and Oral Roberts tied for second at 32-over.

NDSU's Nate Adams and Nate Deziel are tied for fifth overall 7-over. Adams had the best round of the day for NDSU, shooting a 73. Deziel, the defending individual champion, moved up one spot after a 74 on day two.

Denver’s Carson Griggs and Kansas City’s Joshuaa Robards are tied for first at 2-over.

The individual and team champion earn automatic bids to the NCAA Championships in late May. The Bison are set to tee off at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday.
