FARGO — After nine scoreless innings and a 1-1 tied game, Sean Noel singled to drive in Peter Brookshaw's winning run in the bottom of the 13th inning to lift North Dakota State to a 2-1 win Sunday over Omaha in the Summit League at Newman Outdoor Field.
Brock Anderson grounded out to shortstop in the first inning to allow Bennett Hostetler to score for NDSU. Ben Smith pitched eight innings, talllying four strikeouts and walks. Parker Harm (4-4) was the winning pitcher.
Brookshaw, Noel and Charley Hesse each had two hits for the Bison.

The Bison (15-21, 12-12 SL) will play their final non-conference game of the season on Monday, May 5, against Concordia.
