FARGO — North Dakota State running back Kobe Johnson rushed for a career-high 206 years Saturday at Gate City Bank Field at the Fargodome.
Johnson had two rushing touchdowns of more than 70 yards as the Bison rolled to a 49-26 victory against the Montana Grizzlies in the second round of NCAA Division I FCS playoffs before 12,929 fans.
The Bison (10-2) advanced to the FCS quarterfinals and are set to host Samford next weekend.
NDSU running back TaMerik Williams rushed for 101 yards and a touchdown on 11 attempts. The Bison ran for 453 yards on 42 carries to power past Montana.
