Minnesota State Moorhead Dragons

MOORHEAD — Minnesota State Moorhead rolled to a 136-65 nonconference victory over Division III Crown College on Tuesday at Nemzek Fieldhouse in the men's basketball team's home opener. MSUM's 136 points were a new single-game school record, besting the the previous of 126 set against Crossroads College in 2015.

The Dragons held a 65-28 lead at halftime and won the second half 71-37.

Trever Kaiser poured in an efficient 32 points and grabbed eight rebounds in 23 minutes off the bench to lead the Dragons. Kaiser shot 11 of 14 from the field, 7 of 8 from 3-point range and 3 for 3 from the free-throw line. Jesse Bergh added 19 points and grabbed six rebounds off the bench. Bergh shot 4 of 5 from the field and 10 for 10 from the free-throw line.

Concordia men's hockey rolls to third-straight victory

MOORHEAD — Hamline scored the game's first goal. Concordia scored the next six — four from Cole O'Connell — and eventually defeated the Pipers 6-2 on Tuesday.

It was the Cobbers' third-straight win and they've scored 20 goals in those victories. They are 4-2-1 overall and play at St. Olaf at 7 p.m. Friday and 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 19-20.
