Bison softball claims 4-0 win

LAFAYETTE, La.-Jacquelyn Sertic fired her fourth shutout of the season as North Dakota State defeated Texas A&M Corpus Christi 4-0 in college softball Sunday, March 5, to close out play at the Ragin' Cajun Invitational.

Sertic, a right-hander from Sparks, Nev., scattered a pair of hits to complete her second shutout of the tournament against Texas A&M Corpus Christi (5-12) with nine strikeouts and three walks. She improved to 5-9 on the season and has 12 career shutouts. The Bison improved to 6-13.

Madyson Camacho scored two runs for the Bison and Dani Renner hit a solo home run.
