College volleyball: Bison sweep Montana State at NDSU tournament

FARGO — The North Dakota State volleyball team rolled to a 3-0 sweep over Montana State on Saturday at the NDSU tournament at Bentson Bunker Fieldhouse.

NDSU took the sets by scores of 25-17, 25-23, 25-21.

Ali Hinze and Michelle Glover tallied 12 and 11 kills, respectively, to lead the Bison. Kelley Johnson dished out a match-high 33 assists to go with five kills and 11 digs. Hinze finished with a team-high 16 digs for a double-double of her own and Logan O'Brien had 15 digs. Hinze and O'Brien each served two aces.

The Bison (6-3) are scheduled to next play Austin Peay at noon Friday in Clarksville, Tenn.
