FARGO — North Dakota State lost in the semifinals of the Summit League Championship last weekend but the Bison will get a chance to play at least one more match.
The Bison were selected to play in the National Invitational Volleyball Championship. They play Davidson in a first round match at 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 2, at Wake Forest in Winston-Salem, N.C.
The host school Wake Forest plays Coppin State at 6 p.m. Friday, with the winners meeting in a second-round match at 3 p.m. Saturday.
The Bison finished third in the Summit League standings at 13-5 and were 21-11 overall. It was the program's fifth 20-win season in the NCAA Division I era.
