CLEARWATER, Fla. - Rutgers rallied for a 6-5 college softball win over North Dakota State on Sunday to close out play at the University of South Florida Spring Classic
NDSU (10-20) took a 1-0 lead in the top of the first inning. Madyson Camacho walked, stole second and scored on Vanessa Anderson's RBI single left.
The Bison extended their lead to 4-0 in the third inning with Zoe Stavrou's RBI double, Anderson's RBI single and Bre Beatty's RBI double.
Rutgers (7-19) stormed back with three runs in the bottom of the fourth to cut the deficit to 4-3. The Scarlet Knights took a 6-4 lead in the bottom of the sixth. Jacquelyn Sertic (8-15) took the loss for NDSU.
