Bison softball shuts out South Dakota State

BROOKINGS, S.D. - North Dakota State's Krista Menke threw a one-hitter with eight strikeouts as the Bison shut out South Dakota State 12-0 in Summit League softball Saturday.

BROOKINGS, S.D. - North Dakota State's Krista Menke threw a one-hitter with eight strikeouts as the Bison shut out South Dakota State 12-0 in Summit League softball Saturday.

Cheyenne Garcia and Jackie Stifter each drove in two runs in the third inning to help the Bison (24-13, 7-1 Summit) tack on eight runs.

KayCee Miller had the only hit for the Jackrabbits (7-26, 2-10 Summit) in the fifth inning.
