DELAND, Fla. - North Dakota State's softball team shut down Manhattan 5-1, but Columbia rallied past the Bison 7-6 on Saturday, March 11, at the Stetson University Westin Invitational.
Bre Beatty had a pair of double for the Bison in the first game. Jacquelyn Sertic retired 17 straight batters and struck out 12.
Madison Gott hit a two-run home run in the bottom of the sixth inning to lead Columbia to the 7-6 win over the Bison. Zoe Stavrou had a two-run homer in the sixth inning for the Bison, now with a 9-14 record.
