North Dakota State junior Whitney Carlson was named The Summit League women's track and field Athlete of the Week after winning three events at the Bison Open.
She placed first in the long jump with a leap of 20-2½, which ranks her ninth in the country. She also won the 100 hurdles and the 400 hurdles.
